What data we process

When you subscribe to the newsletter / download the e-book: your e-mail address (required) and first name (optional). Also technical delivery data (send status, opens). Running the website generates standard server logs (IP address, time, browser) kept only as long as necessary for security and operation.

Purpose and legal basis

We process the data to send the newsletter (news, information about prints and exhibitions) and to deliver the free e-book "Touch of a Ray". The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), confirmed by double opt-in (sign-up + confirmation link in the e-mail).

Retention

We process the data for as long as your consent lasts. After you unsubscribe / withdraw consent we no longer process the data for sending (we keep only a record of the unsubscribe as proof).

Who we share data with

We run the mailing and subscriber management on our own infrastructure (own mail server). We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. Any necessary technical processors (e.g. server provider) are bound by confidentiality. The single exception is the advertising measurement described below.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and to object. You may withdraw consent at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail or at podpora@stereophotography.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority.

Cookies

Without your consent the site sets no tracking cookies. We only store a functional theme preference (light/dark) and your answer to the prompt below in your browser's localStorage — neither is ever sent to the server and both serve only your convenience, so they require no consent.

If you give consent in the bar on the site, the Meta (Facebook / Instagram) measurement script loads, sets an advertising cookie in your browser and lets us judge how well our ads work and reach similar audiences. Without consent the script never loads and Meta learns nothing about your visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the bar will then ask again.

Advertising measurement

If you reached the site from our paid advertising on Facebook or Instagram and then subscribe, we report the conversion to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — so the advertising is shown to people the subject genuinely interests and the budget is not wasted. What we send is an irreversible SHA-256 hash of your e-mail address, never the address itself, together with the click identifier the advertising platform itself appended to the link. Meta also processes data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. If you would rather not be counted this way, write to podpora@stereophotography.cz and we will not report the conversion.

Embedded content

The site may display our own 3D/stereo photo viewer. Apart from the Meta measurement script described above, which loads only with your consent, we embed no external content that would track you across websites.
